Having had one of the best times of my entire life dancing on the rotating metal disc in the basement of The Foundry at Santacon, I want to share that experience with all my Nooner friends.
Ok, so I might be stretching myself a little thin trying to do this on top of building the pagoda and everything, but with a little help I'm sure it's do-able.
For anyone not familiar with the basement room at the Foundry, it has a large rotating (but not powered) metal disc in the floor that is maybe 4m in diameter.
For the Nowhere Spinning Dancefloor of Doom (provisional title) I'd like to find someway of powering it, either electrically or some sort of pedal power.
/TafkaM : It may even be possible to have a revolving dancefloor that POWERS sound...if you're thinking of the foundry in the foundry; i can envisage a motor that can lead to a sound system, and therefore the people must push the floor round to 'make the party' now that would be a big mission. but with exciting results.
