We (Sam, Adam, Emma, So Fire?, and I) are planning on building an octagonal Ultimate Fighting Championship style cage ring.
Something like this –
We will bring large padded gloves (see below) and head guards.
Expect costumed grudge matches, bikini clad round announcers, ring side commentary and more.
We think this may prove useful in settling any disputes that may arise and we are considering somehow merging this with our Ninja Academy idea.
Suggestions for decorating the outside of the ring are welcomed, we would ideally like to balance out ugliness of violence (albeit mock/silly-violence) with something pretty.
Also, if anyone has any idea of what we can floor the ring with, we'd like to know. We want something fairly soft for falling on, but not so soft as to hinder your movement. It'd help to be in one piece as we think people may trip on it if it's in several sections.
HELP:We will need some help transporting wood and other materials from the town. If we could maybe come along with anyone buying materials for one of the larger structures, that'd be swell.
We are essentially only buying timber, some sort of flooring material and chain link fence (or some similar material) as we're bringing everything else.
We've just bought two pairs of these gloves – bow before their mighty power!
